
Sutherland Shire Council
Sutherland Shire Council administers an area of 370 sq. kms on behalf of nearly 215,000 people in Sydney's south. Incorporated in 1906, it is the second biggest local council in New South Wales in terms of population, and the fourth largest in Australia.
To assist with the transparent assessment of Development Applications, SSC has established an Independent Hearing and Assessment Panel (IHAP). Demand Manager's Director, Jeff Bye is a founding member of the Panel as an Environmental Expert.
