The Greening Grey Facilities program is an initiative of the Aged Care Association of Australia NSW (ACAA) to introduce sustainability into the aged care sector in Australia.
The program has been awarded $1,045,000 in funding assistance from the NSW Climate Change Fund for two stages of water savings projects:
- the introduction of water and energy saving ozone laundry systems into 40 aged care laundries; and
- the installation of leak detection equipment and other water savings technologies in 50 sites.
